Life can be incredibly challenging, and in our busy individualistic society it’s easy to feel disconnected from each other and ourselves. We can be negatively influenced by "the rat race," social media, chronic stress, and maladaptive coping mechanisms, which may lead to symptoms of anxiety and depression. Did you know these symptoms can be understood as signals from the body indicating a need for attention and care? Sometimes all we need to do is slow down... breathe... and turn our focus inward.
As a Professional Counselor Associate, my goal is to support you in reconnecting with yourself by utilizing Mindfulness-Based Therapy, which explores the psyche with non-judgment and compassion to gain self-awareness, autonomy, and confidence. I also utilize therapeutic evidence-based methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy when applicable.

Areas of focus involve treating symptoms of anxiety, depression and trauma, as well as coping with ADHD, low self-esteem, relationship issues, existential crisis, life transitions and suicidal ideation. As a team, we can work together towards increasing self-awareness, building emotional resilience and embracing personal growth, so you can feel confident in navigating change and transformation with ease.
